Dr. Linda Czuba Brigance of the communication department faculty will be presenting a paper titled: "Material and Symbolic Places: Rhetorical Construction of Women's Public History" at the 2009 Conference of the Canadian Association of Women and Public History that is being held in Edmonton, Alberta Canada October 22-24th. CAWPH is an international organization that promotes research about and interpretation of women's history to the public. It encourages interdisciplinary connections among museum and heritage professionals, academics, archivists and other related groups.
