 The Youngerman Center for Communication Disorders at SUNY Fredonia held its first Stroke Awareness Walk on Sept. 18, drawing more than 130 participants from across Western New York. The goal was to promote community awareness of stroke, stroke prevention, and the possible deficits resulting from a stroke, and make the public and medical professionals aware of the various services available at the Youngerman Center. The walk covered over two miles along Central Avenue and the SUNY Fredonia campus. |
