This year, Fredonia is launching our first Day of Giving, #FREDlanthropy Day, and you’re invited to be part of the excitement!
As a supporter of Fredonia we know that you understand the importance of giving to make life better for future generations of Fredonians. But did you know that although SUNY tuition remains among the lowest in the nation, state support has decreased to below 12 percent of Fredonia’s consolidated operating budget shifting the cost to students and their families. Nearly 40 percent of Fredonia students are eligible for federal Pell Awards and 87 percent of Fredonia students received some form of financial assistance.
Your support is essential in providing so many of the things that set a Fredonia education apart. Gifts from dedicated alumni such as yourself, along with parents, faculty, staff, businesses, foundations, community leaders, and others are our prime resources for continuing to provide the life-transforming experiences at the heart of a Fredonia education.
On Oct. 4, we’re challenging Fredonians around the globe to show their support for Fredonia by becoming FREDlanthropists, and we’re hoping you’ll proudly lead the charge! Share your reasons for giving with your fellow classmates on social media and help us spread the word using #FREDlanthropy.
Look for us on Fredonia's Facebook page all day on Tuesday, we will be "live on Facebook" all day from campus with special contributions from alumni from several generations!
