The 2018 Outstanding Administrative Service Awards have been presented to five Fredonia employees, whose collective service spans more than 60 years and all major departments within the Finance and Administration division. The awards highlight exemplary service that employees give to the campus.

“The award recognizes the good work that you do every day,” Vice President for Finance and Administration Michael Metzger told the recipients at the Sept. 19 luncheon held in their honor. “You’re the best of the best.”

Recipients of the awards included:

Jen Costa, a member of the professional staff and assistant director of Human Resources, who began her career at Fredonia in July 2000 as the internal control coordinator. She is a resident of Dunkirk.

Linda Nixon, from Custodial Services, who began her career as a cleaner at Fredonia in October 2006. She is a resident of Brocton.

Rodney Hayes, from Professional Trades, who began his career at Fredonia with Facilities Services in September 2013. He is a resident of Forestville.
