The Career Development Office will host its ninth annual Graduate School Fair on Thursday, Oct. 19, from 4 to 6 p.m., in the Williams Center Multipurpose Room.

“Graduate School Week,” a series of workshops devoted to specific graduate school topics hosted by the offices of Career Development, Graduate Studies, the Graduate Student Writing Center and Financial Aid, will also be held throughout the week of Oct. 16.

Fredonia undergraduate students, alumni and community members are welcome to attend the fair to learn more about graduate schools and the available opportunities. Nearly 70 graduate and professional programs, including a variety of industries and disciplines spanning from business, education, health/medicine, humanities and science, will be represented.

Fredonia’s graduate programs will also be featured, with representatives from the College of Education, the School of Music, the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and the Graduate Studies Office.

Several presentations about graduate school topics to be held throughout the week include:

• “Applying to Graduate School”   Monday, Oct. 16, 4 p.m., Career Development Office (second Floor, Gregory Hall), presented by the Career Development Office;
• “Advance with Fredonia: Graduate Programs and Application Steps” Tuesday, Oct. 17, 4 p.m., Williams Center Room S-204D, presented by the Office of Graduate Studies;
• “Crafting Your Statement of Intent”   Wednesday, Oct. 18, 12 p.m., Graduate Study Lounge, Reed Library third floor, by the Graduate Studies Office and the Graduate Student Writing Center;
• “Financial Aid for Graduate School”   Thursday, Oct. 19, 3:30 p.m., Williams Center Room G103C, presented by the Financial Aid Office;
• “Health Professions Application Process” Thursday, Oct. 19, 6:15 p.m., Williams Center Room G103C, presented by the State University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences;
• “Careers in Public Affairs and Policy”   Thursday, Oct. 19, 6:15 p.m., Williams Center Room G103B, presented by SUNY Albany Rockefeller School of Public Policy (with details about the B.A./M.P.A. joint program offered through Fredonia);
• “Graduate Open House” – Friday, Oct. 20, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Thompson Hall Room E230, presented by the Graduate Studies Office.
