The Accepted Student Panel, an opportunity for students to gain valuable insight from seniors enrolled in the Department of Biology who will enter medical and other professional schools this fall, will be held on Tuesday, May 1, at 5:30 p.m. in Science Center Room 126.
Members of the panel who will share their experiences in the application process will be Mam Deng, a Molecular Genetics major who has been accepted to the University at Buffalo Medical School; Janie Mathew, Biology, Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pa.; and Matthew Salvati, Biology, Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Alumna Kerri Williamson, Biology, who received a 2018 SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence and will attend Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Northwestern University, may participate on the panel via Skype.
The Accepted Student Panel is sponsored by the Health Professions Club and is free and open to the public.
