Student perspectives in higher education from an international viewpoint will be featured at the next College of Arts and Sciences Brown Bag Lecture Series on Wednesday, April 3, at noon at S204 Williams Center.
Six international students – Fawaz Alrouqi, of Saudi Arabia; Gyu Eun Bark and Seungju Lee, Korea; Daniel Palm, Sweden; Meera Sinroja, India; and, Hiroshi Tominaga, Japan – will share their experiences at SUNY Fredonia and how they compare to college life in their home countries. Dr. Jack Croxton of the Department of Psychology will moderate the panel.
All Brown Bag presentations are followed by a discussion and refreshments. Students are invited to remain for Brown Bag Desserts, an informal conversation over dessert with featured speakers. Brown Bag lectures are free and open to campus and community members.
The series is sponsored by the Fredonia College Foundation’s Carnahan-Jackson Humanities Fund, College of Arts and Sciences and the Faculty Student Association.
