A presentation on the Iroquois Confederation and the significance of wampum is slated for Tuesday, Oct. 29, at 3 p.m., in Williams Center Room S204.

Guest speaker and Tonawanda Seneca Jamie Jacobs is a collections assistant with the Rochester (N.Y.) Museum and Science Center, and an educational and cultural expert about Haudenosaunee (a.k.a. Iroquois) culture.

The talk is free and the public is invited to attend. The event is sponsored by the Native American Consortium, Interdisciplinary Studies, Center for Multicultural Affairs, Department of History, and the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
