Campus flags were lowered Wednesday, Dec. 14 in memory of Lecturer Janice D. Slaton, Esq., who died Saturday, Dec. 10. An alumna of SUNY Fredonia and a practicing attorney, Ms. Slaton began teaching in the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, Social Work, and Criminal Justice in 2008. The family requested that memorials in her name be made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Open Door No. 3 Church Building Fund, or the Janice D. Slaton, Esq. Scholarship.
