Latrell Tyson, a junior majoring in Management with a minor in Communication, has been chosen as the May 2017 Student of the Month by the Office of Student Affairs.
Dr. Mojtaba Seyedian, Mr. Tyson’s advisor and chair of the Department of Business, nominated Mr. Tyson for the award.
Tyson is highly engaged within his field of study. He is chair of the department’s Student Advisory Council, an active member of Enactus and president of the Fredonia chapter of the American Marketing Association.
Additionally, Tyson serves on the executive boards of Kappa Sigma fraternity and Habitat for Humanity, is a Keeper of the Dream Scholar and a member of Golden Key International Honour Society.
