Director of Music Therapy Joni Milgram-Luterman, MT-BC, LCAT, attended the 15th World Congress of Music Therapy, held July 5-8, at the Tsukuba International Congress Center, in Tsukuba, Japan. Along with her colleague, Mendelt Hoekstra, founder of the original Momentum Choir, Dr. Milgram-Luterman presented "The Momentum Choir as Community Music Therapy: Belong, Believe, Inspire."
Proceedings have been published in a special issue of "Music Therapy Today: WFMT On-line” journal, Vol. 13, No. 1.
Milgram-Luterman also participated as an invited facilitator in "Chanting Around the World" by music therapists Jodi Winnemaker and Barbara Dunn of the Daughters of Harriet, to facilitate her "Buddhist Blessing" chant, and performed two of her original chants on the Foyer stage of the Tsukuba Convention Center.
