A new cycle for the Carnahan Jackson Humanities Fund has begun on campus with an application deadline of Friday, Oct. 28 for the 2017-2018 award year.

The Carnahan Jackson Humanities Fund was established in the Fredonia College Foundation by David H. Carnahan and the Carnahan Jackson Foundation of Jamestown in 1993. The intent of the gift is to support events that enrich the cultural life of the university and include opportunities for community involvement. The award should fund activities that have a major impact on the campus, Chautauqua County and western New York area.

For more information, and to access and submit the Request for Proposals and application cover sheet, please go to www.fredonia.edu/foundation/cj-humanities-fund. Questions about the 2017-2018 award cycle should be directed to Co-Coordinators Karen West and Tim Murphy in the Fredonia College Foundation office at 716-673-3321.
