A representative from the Peace Corps will be visiting Fredonia on Wednesday, Sept. 14, and will have an informational table in McEwen Hall from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. An informational session will follow from 3 to 4:30 p.m. in Williams Center Room G103C.

Students interested in volunteering abroad after graduation are encouraged to attend. Peace Corps is a longstanding program administered by the U.S. government that puts U.S. volunteers in small communities all over the world.

Peace Corps volunteers help with grassroots change and help build rapport with the international communities they serve. The two-year program is also an opportunity for students hoping to spend time abroad after graduation. Questions about this event can be directed to Erin Willis, assistant director of Study Abroad and Exchange Programs (international.education@fredonia.edu).
