The Fredonia Psychology Club and Psi Chi Honor Society will sponsor a campout on Friday, March 23 to Sunday, March 25 as a way to address the growth in numbers of homeless men, women and families in the United States and other countries around the world.
The event is planned to promote an understanding of individuals who suffer from homelessness and to provide some relief to those the homeless here in Western New York. Both sponsoring groups invite and encourage donations for the local Salvation Army and Friendly Kitchen such as clothing, toiletries and non-perishable items. Donations will be accepted at the campout, from Friday at 6 p.m. until Sunday at noon. Students will continue to accept donations the following week on the third floor of Thompson Hall as well.
