The Applied Communication Association is hosting its annual public speaking competition in the Kelly Family Auditorium in the Science Center on Wednesday, April 4 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Any student can participate and can speak on an informational or persuasive topic of their choice. Students interested in participating are asked to email Shaunna Rospierski.
The first place winner will receive $100, the second place winner, $50, and the third place and fan favorite winners, $25 each. There will be refreshments as well as raffle baskets for all attendees. Sign up to speak, or come and listen!
The Fredonia chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) is a co-sponsor of the event.
