The next event in the Noontime at Reed monthly recital series is slated for Friday, April 27, at noon, in the Garden at Reed Library. The campus and community is invited to attend the free recital.
Any student in the School of Music is invited to participate in the recitals, which consists of approximately 50 minutes of music. They are intended as an opportunity for students in the School of Music to perform their music in an informal and non-curricular setting for the greater Fredonia community.
The line-up for each of the recitals varies; students sign up for the event with their studio teacher's approval. Past recitals have included a variety of different instruments including guitar, clarinet, harp, violin, flute, harp, voice, and various chamber ensembles including a string quartet and improvisation ensemble.
Following the recital there are light refreshments including cookies and coffee.
