Freshman right-hander Katie Yudin (Liverpool) was the beneficiary to earn her first collegiate win in 4 2/3 innings of work. Game 2 -- Fredonia 8, Shenandoah 0 (5 innings)

Highlights -- Dennis picked up where she left and sophomore right-hander Emily Shellenberger (Philadelphia, Pa.) tossed a five-inning shutout as the Blue Devils completed a sweep of their Saturday games and improved to 3-1. Dennis had two singles and three RBI in her first two at-bats to extend her streak to six straight hits. Nance and Lent stayed hot, too, with two hits each. Senior catcher Sarah Cuillo (Blasdell) also had two hits ... Shellenberger allowed three hits and struck out two as she picked up her first win of the season (1-0). Shenandoah (3-5) came into the game averaging just under 10 runs per game.
