Brendon Le Page
Artist Brendon Le Page works on a piece for the Senior Show, which opens with a public reception Friday, Dec. 3 in the art gallery. The show ends Dec. 9.

Selected works by students in the Department of Visual Arts and New Media at SUNY Fredonia will be on display in the art gallery at Rockefeller Arts Center starting Friday, Dec. 3.

The Senior Show exhibition will open with a Dec. 3 reception in the art gallery lobby from 7 to 9 p.m. It runs through Dec. 9.

Among the featured artists is Brendon Le Page, who said being part of the Senior Show has long been a goal of his.

“When I was a freshman I said to myself I want to get in the Senior Show,” he said. “I feel honored that I was picked to be part of the exhibition. I worked hard to get here”

Le Page created a series of wood burned images for the exhibition. He explained his work is a tribute to his father, who had passed away from brain cancer.

The other artists taking part in the exhibition are Marlon Benloss, Bethany Bjork, Angela Englebright, Katherine Fremgen, Mark Gillespie, Heather Personett, Brandon Prinzi, and Lynsey Watkins.

Gallery hours are 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 2 to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free.
