Dr. Rhea Simmons (at right) has been named director of the College Core Curriculum (CCC) Program at SUNY Fredonia, effective Aug. 20.
Dr. Simmons is associate professor of language, learning, and leadership. "Her keen understanding of the big picture of curriculum development and assessment procedures will also be of great value to the faculty and the CCC committee she will lead," Vice President for Academic Affairs Virginia Horvath said.
She said she plans to “go green” with the approval process, assessment procedures, and SUNY notifications by reducing paper and meeting frequency.
