Steven Gangloff, of Buffalo, N.Y., has been accepted to the University at Buffalo’s School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences upon graduation in May 2012. Gangloff will attend the program in Fall 2012.
Gangloff is a senior Biology major on the pre-medical track with Chemistry minor. He is actively involved in leadership activities as president of the Biology Club, president of Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, president of Beta Beta Beta the Biological Honor Society. He is also a member of Golden Key International Honour Society and the Fredonia for St. Jude club.
Besides his campus involvements, Gangloff started his entrepreneur business, Dehydrate2Store, in 2009. It focuses on educating people to maximize the shelf life of food by dehydrating products for an emergency preparedness purpose.
In addition, Gangloff participates as a head researcher in a project with Scott Ferguson, assistant professor of Department of Biology, in using Tri-Molecular Fluorescence Complementation. Due to his academic excellence, he is a Biology tutor in the Learning Center as well as providing supplement instruction to student in the Introduction to Biology class.
