On Nov. 2 the Student Association executive branch will hold a debate between the president and vice president nominees in the Williams Center Multipurpose Room at 6 p.m. Join in the debate as executive president and vice president nominees go head-to-head over issues concerning the Student Association. The debate will position presidential candidate Mike Baker, a junior political science major, together with his vice presidential running mate Kelly Tichacek, a senior legal studies and political science major, against presidential candidate and junior political science major Nicole Matteson, and junior history major Richard Rodgers, her vice presidential running mate.
The debate will highlight issues such as what the nominees plan to do in office, how to make campus more eco-friendly, issues concerning student groups, and the student activity fee that is up for voting this year. Students and faculty are encouraged to attend the debate and hear the nominees plans for Fredonia’s future.
The debate will be followed by the executive elections the following week. On Nov. 9 and 10, elections for President and Vice President candidates will take place in the Williams Center from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
