The SUNY Fredonia Student Association will be hosting "Rock the Vote 2012," a live music event on Saturday, Nov. 3 from 7 p.m. to midnight in Steele Hall. The event will be headlined by the local band, Lightning Killed My Parents, featuring Heart of the Sun, and several of Fredonia’s a cappella groups.

Guest speakers from the political science department and the community will be discussing the importance of voting and what it means to Americans.

"Rock the Vote 2012" is free for all Fredonia students, faculty, and staff who provide a FRED card at the front entrance, and will also be allowed one off-campus guest for free. Door prizes will be given throughout the event and FSA will be serving food and drinks through their concession stand for purchase.

For more information about the event, please contact Justin Dickerson, Chair of Student Relations, Student Association.
