Wheelchair basketball and other related activities will be staged at Rotaract End Polio Now on Sunday, April 15, from noon to 2 p.m., at Dods Hall gym to raise awareness of efforts by Rotary International and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to fully eradicate the polio virus throughout the world.

Also part of the event will be a wheelchair 3-point shot contest, a wheelchair relay race and informational distribution. Pizza and soda will be served. The event is free and open to the public.

Rotaract is a newly chartered club consisting of 30 student members and is sponsored by the Fredonia Rotary Club. The club supports the community through service projects that reflect Rotary International’s commitment of “Service above self.”
