With rakes in hand, scores of students from Fredonia will canvas area neighborhoods to help clear lawns of leaves for community members in the 13th annual Fall Sweep on Saturday, Nov. 4.
The Applied Communication Association, a student organization, is coordinating the event, which enlists students from clubs and organizations and demonstrates how the campus gives back to the Fredonia community.
Participating students will assemble at the Williams Center Multipurpose Room at 9 a.m. for a free breakfast, with registration to follow at 9:30 a.m. Fredonia President Virginia Horvath will offer remarks and tickets will be sold for raffle baskets that will be given away.
