Entries for SUNY Fredonia’s Student Research and Creativity Exposition, an annual showcase of accomplishments by undergraduate and graduate students held each spring, are being accepted through March 23.

Students in all academic disciplines are welcome to submit individual or group proposals for oral, poster or computer presentations. Submissions can also be in the form of multimedia presentations, displays of creative works or a live musical or theatrical performance.

Projects can originate either in or out of the classroom, and senior capstone projects are especially welcome. Works in progress can be submitted as long as they will be completed by the time the expo, scheduled April 26 in Dods Hall and Steele Hall. A faculty mentor must be identified by students for their project.

Organizers are looking to build on last year’s successful expo, which drew over 300 participants.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for students to share their accomplishments with others here on campus. We are truly a community of learners,” said Dr. Jack Croxton, director of the office of Student Creative Activity and Research. “We are especially pleased that President Hefner has agreed to be our keynote speaker this year.”

All proposals are to be submitted electronically. Please go to www.fredonia.edu/oscar and click on Call for Proposals near the top of the page to get to the application form. Applications must be submitted no later than Friday, March 23. Early submissions are encouraged.
