Culinary skills and talent took center stage at the third Cultural Explosion, a collaborative event of International Student Services and the Faculty Student Association (FSA), held Thursday, April 5, in the Williams Center Multipurpose Room.

The Chinese Club, comprised of Xiao Hu, Yuying Peng, Shenghao Li and Rui Sun, took first-place honors, among three groups, with its soy sauce-based chicken dish in the cooking competition.
Top performers in the talent show were: JKC4, a dance group, whose members are Sujeong Han, Konatsu Matsuoka, Ayami Ijichi and Wing Hin Lai, first place; Noteworthy, a show choir group with over 17 members, led by Benjamin Anderson, second; and singer Hokeun Kang, third. Five student groups or individuals competed in the talent show.
Organizations and people that supported the event included the Korean International Student Society, Chinese Club, Office of Residence Life, international students, FSA, International Student Services and Campus Life.
