Another Halloween season is quickly approaching and SUNY Fredonia actors, directors, technicians, and carpenters are beginning preparations for the ninth annual, “Terror in the Trees.” Guests will be able to experience Fredonia's popular haunted forest tour on the Thursday through Saturday nights which "book-end" Halloween.
The event will take place Oct. 24 to 26 and Oct. 31 to Nov. 2 from 8 p.m. to midnight. Pre-sale tickets can be bought for $4 for students and $5 for adults at the SUNY Fredonia Ticket Office, located in the Williams Center on campus, or online at www.fredonia.edu/tickets. Tickets can also be purchased at the Terror in the Trees entrance for $5 each.
A dollar from each ticket sold will benefit the Lakeshore Humane Society. The society is a non-profit organization located in Dunkirk, N.Y., that is dedicated to protecting the welfare of all animals and providing humane education to the community.
The event is made possible by various SUNY Fredonia organizations, including the Faculty Student Association and ADEPT (Alcohol/Drug Education).
