Welcome Week is planned for the first week of the Fall Semester at SUNY Fredonia, starting Monday, Aug. 22. All events are free for currently enrolled SUNY Fredonia students and are presented by Spectrum Entertainment Board. Welcome Week officially closes Wednesday, Aug. 31 with the annual Activities Night, which is now known as FSU4U!
Monday August 22
Outdoor screening of the film, "Bridesmaids (Rated: R)" on huge screen starting 9 p.m. in Dods Grove with complementary popcorn. Film was decided by the new Class of 2015.
Tuesday August 23
Inflatable Rock Climbing Wall from 7 to 10 p.m. in Dods Grove. Prizes will be given away throughout the evening
Wednesday August 24
Comedian KT Tatara does his stand up routine in Marvel Theater at 7 p.m. Only 350 seats available- the event is free but a ticket is required for admission, so pick one up at the SUNY Fredonia Ticket Office, now located in the modular office spaces for the Williams Center in Dods Hall Parking Lot.
Thursday August 25
Showbiz Quiz Game Show with host Adam Ace at 7 p.m. in Marvel Theater. Love trivia? Come play and win big!
Friday August 26
Special speaker presented by STEPS- The J-Spot, A Sex Educator Tells All, 7 p.m. in Marvel Theater. Funny and informative- only 350 seats available!
Wednesday, August 31
FSU4U Fair (formerly known as Activities Night) will take place at 7 p.m. in Dods Grove.
