The State University of New York Athletic Conference has selected Fredonia senior Sam Wilbur (Saginaw, Mich.) as its Athlete of the Week and Fredonia freshman Ryan Dunner (Glassboro, N.J.) as its Rookie of the Week in men's ice hockey.

Wilbur had a goal and an assist in Friday's 5-1 SUNYAC home win over Morrisville State. He added an assist in Saturday's 6-2 win. Wilbur's season-long output now consists of a team-leading 27 points in 24 games. His 11 goals and 16 assists also lead the Blue Devils. In conference-games only, Wilbur has 8 goals and 10 assists. His 18 points rank seventh in the conference.

Dunner had his first collegiate multi-point game with three assists in Saturday's 6-2 SUNYAC home win over Morrisville State. He also had a goal in Friday's 5-1, his second straight game with a goal after waiting for 17 games to score his first. He has at least one point in three straight games.
