The Fredonia women's basketball season starts Fri., Nov. 17, against Carnegie Mellon at Allegheny College's Greg Richards '08 Memorial Tip-Off Tournament.

The Blue Devils, coached by Linda Hill-MacDonald, will also play Sat., Nov. 18 vs. Penn State Behrend as part of the Richards Tournament. Road games at Alfred University and Medaile will also precede the home opener Mon., Nov. 27 vs. Hilbert.

All the remaining home games are against SUNYAC opponents. Conference home game times this year are 5:30 p.m. for night games and 1 p.m. on Saturday afternoons, with two exceptions: Sat., Jan. 13 at 5 p.m. vs. Geneseo and Sat., Feb. 17 at 5:30 p.m. vs. SUNY Buffalo State.

All SUNYAC dates are also doubleheaders with the men's game following the women's game.

Hill-MacDonald, in her fifth season at Fredonia and 29th overall, has a 59-42 mark with the Blue Devils. Her 366-435 overall record includes 10 seasons at Temple, seven at Minnesota, and seven at University at Buffalo. She also served as head coach of the former WNBA Cleveland Rockers.
