The campus is invited to join the Educational Development Program (EDP) for a community initiative to help “Beautify the Campus” on Tuesday, Sept. 11, by going through the campus woodlot to pick up litter. The EDP sponsored event will be begin at the four-way stop sign, located at the intersection of Ring Road and Symphony Circle at 3:30 p.m.
All participants can sign in upon arrival and will be provided with plastic gloves and garbage bags. Participants are asked to dress appropriately.
The litter pickup is a prelude to President Virginia Schaefer Horvath’s “Inaugural Day of Service” to be held on Saturday, Sept. 22.
