Two Fredonia Blue Devils were named today to the SUNYAC Women's Lacrosse All-Conference Team.

Junior midfielder Audrey Yokopovich (Webster) and sophomore midfielder Samantha Spiess (Fairport) were Second Team selections following a vote of conference coaches.

Yokopovich led SUNYAC with 45 caused turnovers and 74 draw controls, a new single-season school record. He was also second on the Blue Devils in goals with 34 and first among Fredonia regulars with a 55.7 shooting percentage, first with 12 free-position goals, and first with 49 ground balls. A two-sport student-athlete, she is all-conference in women's lacrosse for the second straight season and is a two-time All SUNYAC selection in women's soccer. Spiess is a first-time all-conference selection. Her team-leading 26 assists and 56 points are fifth in conference. She was also third on the team with 30 goals, including a seven-goal game vs New Paltz which tied her for third on Fredonia's single-game list.
