The Arts and Sciences Brown Bag Series continues Wednesday, March 7, with a panel on “Risks, Rewards and Repercussions,” held in conjunction with SUNY Fredonia’s 2011-12 Convocation theme. Presenters will include: Jack Croxton, Ph.D., psychology, who will moderate; Dean Russell Boisjoly, Ph.D., business; Bill Brown, Ph.D., biology; and, Robert Rogers, mathematical sciences.
 
The spring series of lunchtime talks, “‘On Education’: A Tribute to Jean-Jacques Rousseau,” commemorates the 300th anniversary of the birth of the philosopher, writer, and composer. Future lectures include “SUNY Fredonia 2.0: Innovative Student Projects and Organizations on April 4 and “Rousseau at 300” on May 2. 
 
All lectures take place between noon and 12:50 p.m. in the Horizon Room in the lower level of the Williams Center. The presentations are free and open to all campus and community members. Classes are welcome. This year’s series is directed by Teodora Cox, mathematical sciences; Laura Johnson, communication; and, Theodore Lee, biology.
